Community Health Systems RN-ICU PRN Nights in Milton, Florida


Responsible for the coordination of the appropriate care required in response to changes in patient care needs and other priorities as they arise. Will organize time to complete all patient care needs within a specified time. Responsible for notifying physician appropriately for changes in patient condition, abnormal lab values and any other significant problems that may affect patient outcome. Will document all pertinent related information in Medical Record. Will obtain and document accurate height and weights on all admissions, will document vital signs as ordered by physician, will record intake and output, and will safely administer medications and blood products. Will administer and monitor titrating cardiac infusions and insulin infusions. Will monitor and care for patients requiring mechanical ventilation. Will assist with telemetry/cardiac monitoring. Will process physician orders in the computer system within a timely manner. Documents patient and family education appropriately. Will assist in the orientation of new staff appropriately. Will complete the initial admission assessment and will complete assessments on assigned patients. Responsible for recommendations and implementation of unit policy and procedures. Will complete the initial admission assessment.


Must have a current Valid FLORIDA Nursing License

MUST have 1 years Critical Care experience or at least 5 years of Med-Tele exp

Must have a current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association

Must have a current ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association

Must have a current EKG Course certification

NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire
