PRN - all shifts
Evaluates own performance and sees opportunity for growth.
Participates in continuing education program conducted by facility.
Participates in annual needs assessment for department.
Provides facility with current license.
Maintains current CPR certification
Maintains current CPI training
Adheres to facility confidentiality policies and procedures.
Displays a cooperative and positive attitude towards callers, patients, staff and visitors.
Maintains facility attendance policy of no more than 6 tardies or 3 incidents of unexcused/excused absences in a 90 day period (not FMLA).
Adheres to facility dress code.

If PRN status, must be available to work at least 1 weekend per month and 1 holiday per year.
If PRN status, must be available to work any shift as needed.
Notifies appropriate staff of all extraordinary events on shifts.
Provides leadership to facility during evening, nights and weekends.
Education - Graduate from an NLN approved nursing school.
Experience - Considerable knowledge/experience in nursing philosophy, policy, practices and procedures.
Certifications - CPR/CPI
Licenses - Licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Florida.
Special Requirements - Knowledge of chemical dependency and dual diagnosis treatment and rehabilitation requirements.
Age/Gender Specifics - Ability to work with male and female, adult (18-over) substance abuse/dual diagnosed population.
Physical/Emotional Demands/Working Conditions:
Work is sedentary or ambulant. Must read, write, speak English fluently. Occasional physical exertion (lifting 30 or more pounds, walking, standing, etc.) to support patient weight in case of emergency situation or patient disability requiring assistance in walking, standing, etc. Must be able to see, stoop, sit, stand, bend and reach. Must be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, emotionally upset, elderly, hostile people as needed. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with the medical, nursing, clinical and other staff. Must be emotionally stable and exhibit ability to display coping skills. Risk of exposure to infections and contagious/blood borne diseases. Exposed to varying and unpredictable situations (i.e., patient behavior). Subject to work schedule and shift change.
